Dr. Doherty’s Super Sprinkles
MAKES 1½ CUPS

Here’s an easy way to boost your nutrient count. Shake this crunchy topping on cereals, yogurt, baked beans, casseroles, soups and salads.

½ cup ground salba seeds
½ cup brown rice bran
½ cup ground flax meal

  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Place in clean shaker and keep in the refrigerator until used.

Each tablespoon contains 17 calories, 1g total fat, 0g saturated fat, 0g trans fat, 0mg cholesterol, 2g carbohydrate, 0mg sodium, 1g fiber, 1g protein.
