Lemon-Ginger Brussels Sprouts and Fennel Coleslaw

This nontraditional lemon-ginger brussels sprouts and fennel coleslaw is cooked and served warm. Cruciferous vegetables, like Brussels sprouts, are better when cooked only slightly to retain their anti-carcinogenic properties. Lemon and ginger add additional anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial and antibacterial benefits, plus a bright flavor.
