Living Without's Favorites: Sweet Treats
Soon after Jill Brack and her daughter Stella were both diagnosed with celiac disease, Brack buckled down to make gluten-free cookies that would be indistinguishable from the other kids’ treats. She got it just right. Her Glow Gluten-Free cookies are, quite frankly, a glowing success. Made with nutrient-rich, fiber-rich bean flour (don’t worry, there’s no aftertaste), these cookies contain no gluten, casein, trans fats or preservatives. They come in four flavor varieties—Double Chocolate, Gingersnap, Snickerdoodle and Chocolate Chip. All are crispy, satisfying, totally delicious and hard to resist.
