Living Without's Favorites: A Better Bar
Mother-of-four Ginny Simon is a chef, integrative nutritionist and owner of Ginnybakes, a company that offers organic, gluten-free baking mixes and treats (yummy cookies!). Ginny recently turned her culinary zeal into creating a super-healthy gluten-free bar. This Love and Nuts Bar is a dense combo of organic seeds, coconut, cranberries, dates, raisins and nuts, all smooshed together into one delicious snack. Ideal for on-the-go and just-in-case, there’s enough good-for-you stuff (vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, plus fiber and protein) stuffed into these bars to stave off hunger for hours. Makes us glad that Ginny bakes.
