Living Without's Favorites: Seasoned Loaf
We love the Ever-E-Thing Bread mix from Chef Ally Allergen. This easy mix has no gluten, dairy, soy, corn, rice, potato, peanuts or tree nuts. No preservatives, GMOs or artificial anything either. What it does have is delicious seasoning—dried onions and garlic, poppy seeds, caraway, dill and celery seeds. You can add eggs, oil and water for a tasty loaf, as the package instructs. We used this mix to “flour” pieces of chicken, tofu and beef before sautéing—and it made a magnificent breading. Then we used it as the flour blend in our favorite pancake recipe for savory pancakes that we served as an amazing side for dinner. Yes, this spice is nice.
