Living Without's Favorites: Noodle-icious
It’s always nice to discover a new line of gluten-free pastas—more choices, right?—but this find is thrilling. Announcing brown rice pasta from Jovial Foods. Made with organic brown rice flour and water (that’s it), Jovial pasta comes in a variety of shapes and sizes—capellini, casereccoe, fusilli, penne rigate, spaghetti. This authentic Italian pasta is produced in Tuscany in a dedicated facility free of gluten, casein, eggs, tree nuts and peanuts (products may contain traces of soy). With a taste and texture just like its gluten-y counterparts, this pasta stands up to heat and hearty sauces alike without losing its texture. Sold in eye-appealing, environmentally friendly packaging (even the inner bag is 100 percent compostable), these noodles are yummy.

Jovial is really good - the noodles really stand up to sauce unlike other rice pastas I've tried. They can be hard to find though. You can get them online shopOrganic.com but make sure you choose the brown rice pasta not the einkorn pasta (that one is an ancient wheat).
