Poking around on the old Downtown Mall, I came upon Revolutionary Soup on a side street (2nd St SW) where soups and salads are made - as much as possible - from fresh, local produce. Soups were labelled vegetarian, dairy-free, and/or gluten-free! The serving person actually knew what I was trying to avoid which gave me confidence even though there are (curses) bread items on the menu.
