Make Your Child's Party a Piece of Cake

Children's birthday parties are tiny milestones that evoke images of celebration. Crumbs clinging to sticky faces smeared with frosting. Colorful sprinkles floating in pools of melted ice cream. Balloons with streaming ribbons filling the air, along with high-pitched shrieks of excitement.


But what if the fun is dampened by the impending threat of food reactions? Many children suffer from food sensitivities that limit what they can eat. The gluten, dairy, eggs, preservatives, dyes, and refined sugar that saturate typical party food can turn an allergic or food sensitive child’s euphoria into utter misery.

A successful, safe and delicious celebration is possible. With a little planning and some creativity, even the most discerning taste buds won’t know the difference between sugar-laden glutinous gluttony and a fancy-free feast.
