What's on Your Plate in 2012?
Every January 1st, do you make well-intended resolutions that seldom last? Me, too. But this year, I swear it’s going to be different. I’ve made just one resolution and I’m intent on keeping it and, hopefully, making it a lifelong habit. To the best of my ability, anyways.
My resolution is simply this: To eat better. By this I mean, to consistently choose foods that are wholesome and nutrient dense. It also means I intend to prepare and serve meals that feed the body rather than deplete it… Or at least, to try as best I can.
This is the way I’m trying to put the extra-special into my special diet. Yes, certain products or recipes may be safe for us. But are they truly good for us?
